Is anybody still using MySpace?
Submitted by Jesta on March 8, 2010 - 09:38This weekend I logged into MySpace on my computer for the first time in ages (okay I HAVE used it once or twice on my iPhone). I found that hardly any of my friends had used MySpace recently. So, is anyone still using it?

The Official Jesta iPhone and iPod touch app
Submitted by Jesta on September 2, 2009 - 23:54Jesta's official application for iPhone and iPod touch is now available on the iTunes App Store! It's a work in progress and there will be many updates coming. And if you were wondering - the current artwork is a rather old picture of me with long hair and a dolphin tail! It's a graphic that I've had sitting around for years and due to a lack of anything better at the moment I decided to run with it. But I really need some good new photos taken soon!

Essential iPhone applications for my musical life
Submitted by Jesta on July 5, 2009 - 13:10I love my iPhone. Since I got it it's become the central hub for my daily life, taking over from my laptop due to it's portability. I imagine that some time in the future it will be possible for my phone or mobile device to completely take over the things I do still need my laptop for now.

Submitted by Jesta on June 18, 2009 - 16:14I was in Second Life when Nika Dreamscape IM'd me to let me know that there was a naked woman in my bedroom! I don't know who she was or for how long she was going to stalk me. Fortunately Nika headed on over to make sure that she wasn't stealing my clothes or something...

Broken strings & Octogenarian Strippers
Submitted by Jesta on June 4, 2009 - 14:12I had a fun gig on Saturday night playing with Simon in my side-project duo at a function for a football club in Essex. We were supposed to start our set at 9-9:30pm. Neither of us were in the best of health so it was going to be a struggle. After many party games, awards and other silliness we finally started playing at about 11pm.

Working on the first album
Submitted by Jesta on May 26, 2009 - 20:02After many years of "messing about" I'm finally trying to get a full CD release ready. It's almost done and will feature a mish-mash of songs that I've had sitting around for a while. It will be a kind of prequel to the first real album that I hope to make more of a cohesive experience. There's still a couple of songs to record, then it's time for mastering and artwork. With life so busy at the moment that could mean I finish it next week, or it may take another six months! Watch this space...
